$100,000 - MISTAKE (FISHERMEN'S LOAN)




I'm a commercial fisherman fighting the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC Bank) over a $100,000 loan mistake. I lost my home, fishing vessel and equipment. Help me fight this corporate bully by closing your RBC Bank account.


There was no monthly interest payment date or amount of interest payable per month on my loan agreement. Date of first installment payment (Principal + interest) is approximately 1 year from the signing of my contract.
Demand loan agreements signed by other fishermen around the same time disclosed monthly interest payment dates and interest amounts payable per month.The lending policy for fishermen did change at RBC from one payment (principal + interest) per year for fishing loans to principal paid yearly with interest paid monthly. This lending practice was in place when I approached RBC.
Only problem is the loans officer was a replacement who wasn't familiar with these type of loans. She never informed me verbally or in writing about this new criteria.

"Uninformed mentality behind the tellers"???? Tellers are simply middlemen between you and the bank, what kind of mentality do you expect? THEY aren't the ones responsible for your money-- all they are trained to do is make deposits, withdrawals, drafts/money orders, bill payments, etc. Anything more than that, what the fuck do you want from them? You want a teller to personally handle your savings? You may as well start yelling at an ATM machine when you are told you have insufficient funds!!!!

you need to open your eyes to what's happening in the world, do a little research maybe. you may work hard at your job, but sooner or later you'll realize that the banks are not there to help you. the system is in place for you to be in dept and to keep you there. the bank teller is always smiling when they give me terrible news about how my money is being held, taxed, or even when a loan has been declined. I now see the uninformed mentality behind the tellers.

I closed this saturday RBC chequing account, saving, gics & stock accounts after they held my daughters cheque 10 days although it cleared ridicilous bank.

Will bring son & daughter this when wednesday to rbc branch close theirs too after.
