Used to have holidays at Trecco Bay in the mid 1950s when it was all sand dunes.

Yes Porthcawl was so popular back then wasn't it? faintly remember being in a caravan that was surrounded by the dunes, and remember families in x-war department tents with wooden floors spending the whole summer in them, "Halcyon Days"
