How Canada Won the 1987 Canada Cup: The Final Game

This game is considered as one of the best in hockey history, but it should be noted that the officiating of Koharski helped Canada win. The Canadian referee called weak penalties (two of which resulted in Canadian goals) on the Soviets while allowing the Canadians to do what ever they wanted at times. Canadian plays that deserved penalties were let go and, on several occasions, resulted in goals for Canada, including the winning goal.

@willypdyer It's plain that you are looking at this game as the officials do. Canada must win, to enforce all the brain dead in Canada that we own hockey, "It Our Game", Bullshit"!

We may have owned it on time, but we have not had it after 1952.

There would be almost no wins for Canada at any level, with out the complicity of the officials. It's just the truth, but hard to take.
