@GGE47 I later saw a sattelte picture of the moon's shadow and it was centered over Va. Beach.The ones further from the center saw a total eclipse,but for a shorter period of time.This was March 7,1970.

@blkshepherd I have seen a total eclipse of the sun.It is the moon's shadow that moves along the Earth.I saw it on television while it passed over Georgia.When it crossed the Carolinas and over Virginia Beach i saw the moon cover the sun as I was in the center of the moon's shadow for 61/2 minutes Total eclipse.of the sun.In a lunar eclipse the moon is in the Earths shadow.I have seen the moon completely dissapear deep in the Earth's shadow,and saw it gradually come out of the Earth's shadow.

The earth is flat and round the shadow proves nothing. In fact our earth looks like a coin but still flat. I know a scientist who fell from the earth while investigating this fact.
