good effort for justice... Yes doctors should be vary cautious, they have no right to spoil the other lives.

Awaad was very persuasive and led us to believe that delay could cause more damage. When we insisted on a referral to a neurologist at Children's Hosp. he was very dismissive. The new neuro said we should tell our referring primary care physician about our dissatisfaction with Awaad. He also said something like 'we all know about Awaad'. I'm so sorry I didn't follow up on this. This was in 2005.

I learned about Awaad this week from our new pediatrician. When we told him our austic son was diagnosed with epilepsy and cerebral palsy and was cleared of both diagnoses by another neurologist he asked if it was Awaad. When he told us Awaad had fled the country and gone to Saudi Arabia I said "Thank God". His reply was "Don't you like Saudi Children?" I wept when I watched your video. My beautiful grandson could have gone thru what your lovely daughter suffered.

the same story here. my son was misdiagnosed by dr awaad ..Brian was on two diffrent medications .first was Trileptal, than depakote .

this is the same thing my daughter went threw.. with the no sun .. wearing hats.. no physical sports ect..... she was seeing dr awaad for 5 years. hair falling out... hand shakes... and its possible she wont be able to get a drivers licence because she was diganosed as having seizers.. we really liked the dr he was very personable. good with kids.. my daughter has also been cleared of any seizers by another dr.

Doctors are the most overly romaticized,over-paid occupation in the history of western culture.They have power,money,protection,and most people see them improperly portrayed as heroes on television because they make good drama.Misdiagnosis and mistakes by several doctors ruined my life.Patients are subordinated by a medical system of power,discourse,and institutional hubris.Every person in this country should be critical of doctors and know they have rights,as many doctors assume a superior role
