Swapped out the CRV rear diff for the older Civic Wagon's diff and viscous coupler. The front wheel is spinning twice as fast as the rear because the driver's brake caliper is dragging pretty hard. The vid makes it look as if theres a large change in angle in the shaft from the rear diff to the viscous coupler, but it isn't as bad as it appears

  • how is the car holding up wit the crv tranny and wagon driveline?? i want to swap a crv tranny in my rt4wd wagon but i really want to keep my rear end for simplicity and cheaper because i don thave to buy the crv driveline

  • @SlowassEk Sad thing is I haven't been driving the car much lately. From what little I have been driving it, it doesn't seem to complain much. The rear diff is hard mounted so I'm not sure of how much of the whining is because of that or because its unhappy about the transmission up front. I'd say try it, you could always sell the trans to someone else if it doesn't work out for ya.

  • @Brendon00000 I seriously see your comments on every video man not to seem like im stalking you or any thing but on every video i click on I notice your username with a comment on pretty much every video

  • I'm amazed on how large the driveshaft is, I though because it was a awd it would be weak and tiny, I to convert my crx to RWD with the wagovan drivetrain and taking out the front cv shafts

  • hey can i buy a western rally license for a $100 and enter western rally events??? or do you have to go through a long process lol

  • Nice to see that your still working on this. I plan on starting a RealTime driv conversion on my HF in the near future. Your threads have been inspirational. I'm glad to see you go with the civic diff.
