Poultry is a common addition to holiday celebrations but it can pose serious health risks if not handled properly. How can you avoid food borne illness this holiday season?

If a holiday celebration does leave you a bit queasy, here's how we can help:

1. Call Health Links/Info Santé (24 hours/7 days a week) at 788-8200 or toll-free at: 1-888-315-9257.

2. Call your doctor or to Urgent Care Centre at Misericordia Health Centre (99 Cornish Centre). For more information on Urgent Care, visit http://www.misericordia.mb.ca/Programs/UrgentCC.html

For more health tips and information, visit http://www.wrha.mb.ca
