Super beetle brakes

Me struggling with brakes on my 1973 Super Beetle. Can't get good brake action in the front! New master cylinder - new wheel cylinders, new shoes, and pedal still going way too far. This is a video of the action at the wheel cylinder, which seems like not enough movement to me, but not sure. Someone else replaced my drums and shoes, and I am not sure those are the right diameter either.

Edit - Figured out finally what the problem was. The wheel cylinders that came with the car from the previous owner were WRONG. Also the ones I bought from Auto Zone were WRONG. Went to the local reputable VW only shop, Painters Grinding, and got TRW Brazilian ones for a Super, and now I have brakes!
