I have been bathing the mice in vegetable oil for a few weeks now. this video shows twitch the day after a treatment. I haven't decided yet if its treating the mites (if she has them) or if its just physically stopping her rubbing her fur off. she is looking better (i know she looks very poorly). i will keep posting and hopefully she will be back to her beautiful self for christmas!!
@1Rebel4Love If your mouser has sores then I would take her to the vets. my mice have been rubbing their fur off for months now and i took them to the vets straight away. only after the medication didnt seem to be working did i try some home remedies.
The oil is working for them, but i have to apply it about 2ce a week.shes only rubbing from her back end now and the rest of her is lovely and furry again.

How did the oil bath work for you and your mice? I think my mouse might have mites - she's itching a lot and has devolved a scruffy fur-coat with some sores on her skin. I'm trying to figure out what to do for the poor girl. :/
