@ToonTownTerrorist I'm only 41 and have been riding my touring for 3 years.

@ToonTownTerrorist I'm 38 and I'm on my 3rd, 2 Concours and a Nomad...

I'm just surprised that finances would be an issue because I live around L.A. where everyone who has sorely misplaced priorities sees fit to buy a BMW or Mercedes Benz that they drive home to their hole-in-the-wall apartment. Just because they wanted that instant gratification status symbol.

My idiot room mate has it in his head he doesn't need to take this class and I could argue with him til I'm blue in the face, he just wont listen. He thinks, "why take a class when I can learn it first hand" I tell him, it might save your life but he still won't listen.

@DustinsReality Well, let him learn on his own then. The MSF Ridercourse is worth about 2 years of learning on his own LOL. He has that option, but he will have to prove he can master all the maneuvers in a test! Best to take the course because you do the test at the end while the training is fresh in your head. It only cost me like US $160, & I had NEVER used a clutch before, not even in a car. They even had helmets but I brought my own

Hey you should read 'For Richer And Even Poorer' by Peter Egan, in his book Leanings.
There are some cool gals out there!
