yeah that video quality was one reason for buying this cam. but my first testshots in AVCHD where quite dissapointing with also lots of artefacts and blurry image, though i use a class 6 SDHC. please give us some hints... thank you!
did you switch the "following AF" off for instance?

I use motion JPEG now for better quality. AF is off. Quality HD. AF-function center.
