Fyodor Khitruk Winnie the Pooh Vinni Puh Walking Toy

Russian Animator Fyodor Khitruk made three Winnie the Pooh shorts beginning in 1969 (the other two shorts were made in 1971 and 1972 respectively). These shorts featured his own interpretation of character design, and are absolutely beautiful to watch. I found this toy at an antique shop in Niles CA, but have no idea what year it's from, or who manufactured it, as it has no markings. With just a little push, he walks, and it mimics the way the animated version walks quite well. If you have info about this toy, please post comments. By the way, don't worry, I caught him.

@MultiMementoMori They cost between $5 and $10, depending on the size. I only see them at that Christmas market, once a year. I think that Vinni Puh is a wonderful characterization of Winnie the Pooh. You should be proud of the cartoons!

i just came back from Piter with one of these Vinnis and as soon as i stepped in my house i discovered it doesn't walk. it just falls. i'm destraught. seeing this video almost makes me cry..

I saw some of these at the Christkindlmarket in Chicago this year. They're very cute.
