The thing that really irritates me about the vast majority of todays "artists" is that they can rarely recreate their studio sound playing live. Why? Because they aren't really musicians at all, and it isn't actually the bands music. It's the producers music!
I love the "stripped down" sound Giant Drag has in this tune. At least it's REAL! There's alot to be said for these modern artists Giant Drag] who are actually musicians as well.

Of course the drums are loud, haven't you ever heard a garage band before? The drums are always the loudest instrument under those conditions. Especially when they are jammin' in a room just slightly larger than a closet. The acoustics are gonna' suck.
Personally, I love "raw" sounding rock. I guess it's a musician thing....LOL
