The guest is an idiot. I can say Jesus supplies the Taliban with this lighting bolt weapon that downed the Chinook. He runs his mouth without backed evidence. #FAIL
Brad Thor is a paranoid ultra-right wing writer who is now brining the fear to CNN. Seriously, who was the moronic producer who hooked up this guy - a feller usually reserved for Glenn Beck's house of delusional world view.
Obviously a slip of the tongue, but "flying IED" is more idiotic. It was probably a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG), a standard Soviet-designed weapon in mass production, and not an IRAM, which has very poor targeting capability. It is the opposite of an IED. He's no expert in weapons and I doubt international espionage and terrorism. See SpyTalk's blog "Cable TV's Counterterrorism Morons"
Propaganda and disinformation. No wonder Americans are so misinformed.

Uh... lady, Iran's eastern border is with Afghanistan. Besides the Pashtuns, the rest of Afghans speak Farsi which is basically Persian. Iran has always been involved with their neighbor and relatives in Afghanistan.
