Solidarity

I completely agree with the message in this video about the importance of solidarity and the fact that there are varying levels of transexualism and that the entire community of persons with transgressive gender needs to stick together in the "gender revolution" I often think about how i don't feel completely male or female but right now i identify as a feminine male. gender is too layered to label so easily, labels are just for convenience and simple explanations. We have a long way to go.

identity policing is totally bullshit. butch, ftm, femme, genderqueer, androgynous, whatever! explore and enjoy your gender, however queer it is. :)

My girlfriend and I were talking about this and she said that the problem isn't that we don't know the answer to our genders, it's that the question itself is all wrong. It's like the question of gender is too often asked in the language of mathematics and the answer can't be expressed with anything but poetry. It just doesn't match up. Don't be afraid of backlash, eventually you'll find people who love you for who you are and who can appreciate the poetry of your identity.

Thanks so much for taking the lead here on the matter, bringing light upon this. I think we all have a deep wish, together, for those like yourself to express what we all really have a need for. We, in our own community, need not create barriers,in any form.You could not have said this better.
