@yesterdaysshadow Oh Shit, I want to be there again with my spiked hair and 80's attitude !

The more of these early Eurythmics tracks I listen too, the more I am reminded of how similar they sounded to Yazoo - not to take away anything from either band, as they were both my favorites at the time. Annie's voice is a bit higher range than Ali's. Both brilliant singers. And Vince Clarke is to keyboards what Dave Stewart is to... well, Guitars/Keyboards... hehe.

I have the original 45 vinyl record of this Single. I bought it at Music+ back in the early 80's. This track got me into electronic music. :)

Also this song is on the album itself, situated between "Wrap It Up" and "The Walk".

Eurythmics were indeed f**kin BRILLIANT in the beginning through to Sex Crime. For me, they then went very mainstream and quite horrible until the re birth oif Eurythmics with "Savage" which is stunning.
"I Could Give You A Mirror" is just so DIVINE musically, lyrically and Aniie's voice on this particular track is just spine chilling. SO mysterious and powerful, IMMACULATE work +
