http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/held-rainstar-gloves The brand new Held Rainstar Gloves offer a perfect marriage between protection, performance and comfort for multi-season riding. Completely waterproof and breathable via the Gore-Tex membrane, the Rainstars will perform best in Spring-Summer-Fall riding conditions in the Northeast but could be your 365-days-a-year glove in milder climates or if you have heated grips. The Outlast Phase Change Material found in the liner is essentially a built-in thermostat capable of holding heat and releasing it when the temperature of your skin drops. A supple cowhide backhand with a goatskin palm outer, the Rainstar has a leather-coated hard plastic knuckle with added protection at the palm via a stingray leather panel that is backed by shock-absorbing gel. Creature comforts include the visor wiper on the left index finger in addition to the flat external seam stitching that eliminates pressure points. As always with Held, quality is seen across the board with this glove and comfort is second to none.

  • @VideoScenario Honestly, due to the Gore-Tex membrane, I would expect this to dry out more quickly than the competition. I think Held would be proud to have this used as a daily commuter rain glove.
