The Detroit Free Press reporting was wrong on the issue, and nothing in the Humane Society Legislative Fund TV ad discusses his cosponsorship of bills. The ad clearly describes his voting record on four issues -- animal fighting, downed cattle, polar bear trophy hunting, and horse slaughter -- and includes dates and web site links to each of the votes on the screen. Joe Knollenberg voted against animal protection time and time again, and he couldn't hide from his long and embarrassing record.

You people really ought to understand the truth, and not take everything that a PAC or similar "cause" group says at face value:

According to the Detroit Free Press (freep?):
"...Of the issues the group raised in the ad, Knollenberg was downgraded not because of votes he took, but because he didn't sign as a cosponsor to a bill....."

So he hasn't exactly roasted your small pets over a fire. Read, people, read!
