I still cant believe they didn't show the intro for this season on TV...

After watching some of this season and seeing every single season of survivor except for Thailand, Exile Island, Marquesas and Guatemala I can say without hesitation this season makes me livid about being a woman.

It angers me how dumb women who clearly have no use being on survivor such as Kat and Christina make it on to the show especially since this is a battle of the sexes season.

This is why its wrong to vote out the physical strong straight away, the female tribe probably wont make merge.

@WreckaBeccaMecha It's not about winning or losing, it's about getting to the end because that's all you have control over in the game. Russell knows how to get to the end and overcome all the obstacles in his way, therefore, he's a great player. The jury wasn't "torn" between them, they were just too lazy to put any real thought into their votes; in fact, John was the only one who actually did think long and hard about it. No more replies; you can believe whatever you want.

@psychokinrazalon You're right, though, in saying that the Jury alone control who wins. The only way to win the game is to get the Jury to vote for you. Russell failed miserably in this, so how can anyone say he's a good player? If the Jury was torn between Natalie and Mick, of all people, then there really is no excuse for Russell. He even said to Monica that he didn't care about the Jury (Episode 12), so really, he doesn't understand the game.

@psychokinrazalon Mick was friends with Galu, too, so you're saying that Russell took two people with him that he couldn't beat? Erik didn't sway seven people in just one speech. Mick's answers at the final Tribal were terrible -- he botched nearly every question he was given -- and Natalie's were pretty solid. Russell, though, had no chance of winning in any scenario. You don't have to be a bastard to be a dominant player. Good examples are Richard, Tina, Brian, Tom, Yul, Earl, Todd and JT.

@WreckaBeccaMecha I don't see how she could've been friends with them since they've said they were planning to vote for Mick before FTC. The ONLY reason Natalie won was because of Erik's speech. And Russell DID play to the jury in that he made a point that he was a bastard because he was playing so dominantly. Regardless, the jury deserves all the blame for a particular person not winning, since only they control who wins and who doesn't.

@psychokinrazalon And you can argue that the Samoa Jury SHOULD have cared more about game-play than likability, and I wouldn't argue with you. But that's not who those people were and it's not how they wanted to play, and it's not uncommon for a Juries to vote for who they liked the best over who played the more aggressive game (see: Vecepia, Amber, Chris, Danni, Bob). They played by the rules and voted how they wanted. Russell failed to adapt to them. He deserved to lose.

@psychokinrazalon The Jury gets to vote however they want to. It's up to the players to get to know the people around them, understand what makes them tick, and set up their endgames accordingly. Russell took Natalie to the end, either not realizing or not caring that she was best friends with pretty much the entire Galu tribe. He either didn't realize that, or he didn't think it would hurt his chances. In either case, he deserved to lose.

@WreckaBeccaMecha I understand perfectly well why Russell didn't win, but he deserved to win Samoa so much more than Natalie. And had the jury voted with their brains, he would have won.
