ISE KID THE NEW TEFLON DON BIO
Iselah was born in St. john's Antigua West Indies. He attended PS 20 in Flushing Queens, New York until the age of nine (9),when he returned to his native home in Antigua where he attended the Sunnyside Tutorial Private School, and continued his schooling in Antigua.
Upon arriving in Antigua he joined his cousins Supa-D and Yellow in the booming local music scene. The boys were already in the DJ dancehall circle and Iselah wanted to add his own flavor to the flow.
This continued for many years until Iselah and his brother Elijah teamed together and started their own DJ music Sound System called Mellow Vybz. At one point Supa-D who also trained race horses, encouraged Iselah to come to the racetrack and ride some horses for him. He jokeyed for a few years and later became a horse owner himself.
It wasn't long before he got the itch to get back to the music on a more serious note putting Shadow Law Clique on the map with the release of their frist CD "It's a long journey" in 1998 on the Shadow Law Record Label. The CD includes a number of tracks from other artists such as Crisis, General, Althea, Sci- Fi, Della Move, and Jason Niceness and sold a number of 7,000 copies.
Iselah returned to the United States in January 2001 after a jaunt in London and began working on "Rough Neck Sons of Soul",with the little success of a nation wide tour and a few tv appearances "Rough Neck Sons of Soul" sold over 8,000 copies. It was time to start working on the new album "Dangerous minds ready to blow" distrubuted by Red Galaxy Records in 2004 was never released due to poor management. After waiting for a year to make things happen it seem that Red Galaxy was trying to shelf the Shadow Law Clique as things were looking down hill for SLC another Record company got wind of the group, in result the next step was made and " Sin-Ful-Thoughts" was recorded and later became nominated for a Grammy on the 47th Annual Grammy Awards in 2005, " Sin-Ful-Thoughts" was created and Distrubuted by Sonic Waves International. Collaboration with his brother Elijah AKA War Starter, which he expresses his greatest joy and delight working with as a team.
The CD is a cross-over of hip-hop/dancehall. Confident in his unique style and sound, these beats will make a huge impact on the current music scene clearly heard in songs like "Real bad man"Don't try to test","Two gal a breed"and the Grammy nominated Song "Call me the Sand man". In excess of 12,000 records sold.
Iselah ambrose a.k.a Ise Kid is looking forward to letting loose and giving fans something to jive and vibe about. Back with a vengeance "Ise Kid the new Teflon don" has mastered his flow and style.
