Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP Shell Replacement - How To Refurbish/Modify Your Old GBA Console

I just picked up a another SP from a 2nd hard store, It powers on and plays games but only shows half the screen the other have is white. Is this Something I can fix or should I just buy another one

@SpinTheDemon It's maybe just a damaged or loose ribbon cable. Shouldn't be too hard to fix.

great video. so how much money would one of those sp's fetch on ebay in brand new condition?

@adamsbil1 Thanks. The regular AGS-001 SPs are very common and not worth much. I bought mine for £4.99 a couple of years ago used from Gamestation. An SP console on it's own in good refurbished condition is maybe worth between £10-£15. A bit more if you have the chargers and some games etc. The AGS-101 on the other hand is much harder to find and worth about 3x the price of the AGS-001.

I was thinking about doing this to my old SP and reselling it. Its just sitting in my closet and I'm certain someone else could get enjoyment out of it, but I dont really know what would be a good price to ask. What do you usually sell yours for? (My currency is dollars by the way)
