don't think it would work unless it was metal, the coefficient of friction needs to be taken into account when using this sort of turbine...as a tesla pump / turbine is also affected by the surface friction characteristics of it's blades. Ummm glass might do better but the vibrations would shatter it quickly, metal seems best compromise.

I love this video for all of the great information it contains! The narration gives such rich details about the device and it's capabilities. Thanks for posting all the costs and power output as well. Please post more videos just like this one. Youtube can never have enough of these amazing videos. (zero stars)

Sorry, i should have said the lift (force) provided by the cylinders spins the turbine
