While the world has focused on Iraq, the situation in Afghanistan has slowly deteriorated. As this embed report reveals, soldiers constantly come under attack.
"We take direct fire every day but our story always gets put on the backburner to Iraq", states Sgt Collins. "I know most of the soldiers feel forgotten". Charlie Company is tasked with stopping the flow of insurgents into Afghanistan. But without the support of locals, it's a virtually impossible task.

The best way to control NW frontier is that, Peshawar has to be given back to AFghanistan, that way it will much easier to control, now the Pakistani ISI is playing two face games, its been proved through its younge history to AFghans. But Britian is more loyal to Pakistan to Afghanistan, so basicly West has no interest in bringing stability in afghanistan, there will be more killing of innocent civilians and people will be joining the taliban.

@TWI08 your such an idiot. First off al-qaeda was created by the US the taliban was a sort of military monarchy that created by muslim extramist in afghanistan. The problems in afghanistan extend far beyond the US and taliban war, so much so that i couldnt tell you just in one comment. I suggest you do some research instead of just pointing the fingure at the US.

they cant have all been human shields used by taliban, there has to be some kind of wrecklessness on our part.

I saw a documentary interviewing ex cia men and they said osama was even treated for kidney problems after 2001 in a pakistan hospital, doctors were also witnesses, they said cia used their own doctors.

another time they could have got osama was when he was seen with a saudi prince but they didnt want to kill prince aswell.
