Actually, its only when he runs. And you dont level up the charecter, you just change the weopon. The cool thing is, its not exactly chaos blast, its more or less a chaos barrier. but it kicks so much ass man. Also when you get the right weapon, (i forget the name) not only do you get that, but also whenever he slashes he uses chaos spear as well.

Because he's the ultimate knight form, he gets cool things. Like a big sword and jet/skate boots.
