Honestly - beckham was made because of the female attention re victoria , he could only do along curly pass / cross . no way could he motivate or dominate as scholes , cantona , etc could but because of his wifey he got attenttion - now tom finney was a diff kettle of fish . As a Blackpool fan I believe my father in law who said that he was the best all round player he ever saw - not as good as Sir Stan as passing people but far better at heading , tackling etc

@nobbytang Respect for repping Sir Tom, but you cant say he was shit, an unbelievable finisher, passer, play-maker and he could really rally the troops! You don't need to be able to pace down the wing when you can put the ball on a man's foot from 70 yards away.
