the sizes quoted are not all accurate... the Spelling house is 56,500 square foot... and the Carolands Mansion in Hillsboruough is close to 60,000 square foot... actually, who cares ???

I really don't understand why billionaires and millionaires would spend soo much money on such huge gigantic houses. If I was a billionaire, I would have a big house ofcourse but not as big as those. and use my fame and money to make a difference in the world. help others. I really dont need 30 bathrooms or even 5 bathrooms. lol.

@BestMusic2012 Do mansions build themselves? No they don't. Think of all the people who benefit from a house of this stature. The carpenters, masons, plumbers, electricians, cement finishers, laborers, the truck drivers who delivered the materials, the jobs created at the companies who manufacture the materials, and so on. So stop demonizing wealthy people.
