I went to Montreal in August and had a pole jam with my friend and former employer Julie. She has just expanded and opened a new pole studio by the Jean Talon Market: Pole Fitness Montreal.
We had an amazing time, she is a beautiful dancer and I was sore for a week trying to keep up with her!!! Yes, this is quite a studio...I've seen a few pics up on FB with Julie, AC, and some of the rest of the Montreal crew. The segmented mats are real nice...great for new learners or old scaredy cats like me! It seems to me that Montreal is another focal point of pole in North America. Besides the "Big 4" (Sea/Portland, LA, Vegas, NYC), there are all these other great pole places: the Carolinas, Detroit Metro, Montreal, Alberta, and Philly...and probably many others!
