IN order for me to help you, download teamviewer 4 . google search for teamvier 4 and download and install on both computers. I posted a comment earlier to your comment but for some reason , it does not show on the comments page

it was taking up too much space on my laptop. Now, I share my library on and playlists on the network. I keep a backup copy of all my music on the internal hard drive of the desktop.

I appreciate you taking the time to make a comment. Sharing the library is very useful to me for the following reason. I have one desktop computer with a external hard drive. I have the external hard drive partitioned off into to 4 partions. I store my music on one of those partitions. I was keeping a copy of all the music on my laptop as well. I use a very useful file synchronization software (better than windows briefcase) to update my copy on my laptop. The problem was,
