my first bike was a 954. you just have to be mature about it. a 600cc can fucking kill you so i really dont think there is such thing as a starter bike lol

a starter bike a ninja 250 then get on a 600 and after to master the 6 you can get the 750 or 1000

Im 16 an i have races mx for a long time also and a 954 was my 1st bike. I got it when i was 15 and started riding and it just takes some geting use to. Mite say its to big but if you are a good rider you will learn fast and learn how to control it. Everyone said when i was 8 that a 250 2 stroke was 2 big for me but i got where i could ride way better then the people that were sayin that. its the same way when i got my 954.

mx is nothing compared too the tar my friend....an r6 is even too big 4 you!! try cbr 400 or vfr 4oo, both made by honda!

@KTMdude07 r6 has no low end torque it suxs for street riding.....cbr600 or zx6r are gunna b the best 600's u can get or gsxr600 if u like to have a millions of custom options and accesories......DO NOT i repeat DO NOT get an r6 they sux for everything except real track days

Way too much power for a first bike, this thing was torquey as hell. I started off on an R6, I would say get something along the lines of that.
