Hi the turnigy works well with that set up - i also have purchased the mustang like urs and use a tiger 2100 kv motor and a 7x4 prop 2 cell 480 lipo and its ballistic at full throttle.

I put the motor robotbotbirds said and it flew ok but i have now put a turnigy

3020 1800kv on with a 6x3 prop and hopefully it will cruise ..

I find that robot birds like them a little heavy, i perpusly put smaller stuff in mine.

I like the sound if that 6x3 prop mine lacked a bit of static thrust.

@stevecoterell9 Mine the motor didn't realy pull it to good a little under powerd for my likeing, but the plane is still running

have you ever tried a 7x4 prop with that set up? think it would make a big difference.

its 150gms approx with 2 cell lipo and jeti reciever (5gms). a little heavy but i cant seem to get it lighter .

check my vid see what you think with the robotbirds set up and soon when the wind drop i will video the new set up..
