Most politicians use a lot of words to say nothing so nobody can get them on anything, but Palin is too dumb to make it work. She comes across as confusing instead of just ambiguous.

Palin could become as absurd as Pat Paulsen for President was throughout the 60s, 70s & 80s. The difference is Pat was very smart. He just wasn't part of the "establishment".

SP does have some establishment backing. It only goes to show what slimy depths bankers, businessmen and lawyers will go to get ahold of the purse strings of the American taxpayers.

she did what anyone who wants to get elected would do. And this is from someone who thinks she's as dumb as a rock and is terrified that America might actually vote for her in 2012. But think about it, any politician with half a brain would've avoided that question.

Never say Yes, or No. Example: "So, are you against gay marriage?" - How a politician who'd be against it would answer: "We value that every human being should have the right to live a normal life..." - I guess that's one way of saying "Hehe, screw you - Next question please"

Granted she didn't answer the question verbally but judging by her convenient timing with the hand gester she gave. I think it's safe to say no she does not support whoever they were asking her about. But it's kind of irritating actually when I am listening to an interview I should not have to analyse it so that I didn't miss any mixed signals.

@phantomspellchecker BP is to blame for the incident's reaction but those drilling are the one's truly responsible for their actions while doing the physical work of drilling. Sarah's response is correct. We have an energy shortage because environmentalists and the crazy EPA have made it extremely hard to efficiently siphon oil and nuclear energy. It's more about politics than the environment. US nuclear plants are notorious for increasing the safe habitat of fish around it's locations.

Deep water drilling is risky and offshore drilling (i.e. around 20 miles out where water is usually a few hundred feet deep instead of 50 miles out where water is a mile deep or more) is immensely safer as well as land drilling in places like Alaska and the Rocky Mountains where new steam methods have been discovered. I think this shows the ignorance of those that just hate her with no idea why other than they are told to.
