Okay, I've given it some thought. The dogs they have sitting in for the lads are great, but IME, maybe they should've matched them up like this:
Micky - Pug (clownish and extroverted)
Mike - Basset hound (aloof but quite droll when they want to be)
Davy - Beagle (cute and perky)
Peter - Yellow lab (sweet and goofy)
