The Olmec originated writing in Mexico,right, so we can assume that the term Tutul Xiu refer to the Olmec.

The term Xi/Shi, is probably related to the Olmec/Manding term Si, which means race & lineage. Since Si/Xi was used as an ethnonym the Tutul Xi-u were the Olmec people.

this video is informative on a few levels, however i'd like to see one done on the research of the kingdom of the Zingh (30,000-15,000 BC), when the sahara desert was somewhat part of the atlantic ocean. before the sahara dried up it was made up of a bunch of interconnecting lakes over a large portion of modern west, central and north africa. and yes, the language appears to be the mande language.

When they do DNA test, they only use samples from West Africans and not North Africans. A simple DNA test could clear this up if African Americans are tested against North African DNA.If the test negative, then end of story, but if positive, then we are all connected.
