It sounds muddled but Damian's got a point surely. If you're convinced a place is haunted you interpret every last noise as proof (not as expanding timbers, owls etc).
Even David Wells says something similar (well a bit different view of course), that Stuart wants things to happen to him, so they happen to him.

you're not that clever are you.. if it was haunted then you would be hearing that much stuff.. if it wasn't haunted then you wouldn't be hearing stuff. plain and simple

she is too paranoid and that is why she is hearing crap...if it was realyl haunted i am sure they would not be hearing that much stuff.
