@MaxRideWizardLord With all of the development staff of 3D Realms let go, I think there is slim chance this game will be released. Maybe a deal can be worked with another developer and get them to work on Duke Nukem Forever, if 3D Realms (Whoever is left there) can find a developer willing to work on this like how they had another developer work on Prey.

Well, the portal with the spinning rings around it you eventually do see in the 2006 release of Prey. :)
