Jethro , rescued lab/shepherd mix available through www.dpsrescue.com

Jethro is a one year old, neutered golden lab/German Shepherd mix available through www.dpsrescue.com He was found abandoned, emaciated, covered in ticks. Even when we first got him, he displayed zero aggression. He loves other dogs of all sizes. We have the range from Mastiff to chihuahua. He loves children, and has the sweetest temperament. He came to us with abandonment issues (go figure) and is recovering nicely from separation anxiety. In fact, he is very smart and highly trainable. He walks well on leash, rides like a champ in the car, and overall is a really easy dog. Completely housebroken, his best situation would be someone who is home a lot and invites him into the house as a member of the family. This throw-away dog is a diamond in the rough for a family who is interested in a loyal, well behaved companion.
