@DietPlain Its because Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament Laws. The OT Laws are still in effect to this day but because of Jesus we do not need to do them anymore.

About those other verses concerning women, it is not expedient to the human race if women have authority over men because Eve tempted man in the beginning and also Adam was created first, not Eve. This is in not to say that women are not equal with men because all humans are equal because of the Image of God that is in them. God (Jesus Christ) was even born of a woman so woman are to be highly honored
