  • Great tutorial. It looks like you really know your stuff.

I'm curious, though, Does BMS require you to run through such a complex startup checklist? Will the sim throw you a curveball in the way of a malfunction if you DON'T?

    Just wondering.

  • @Void304 BMS has the option for random failures built into the config file, but it is disabled by default. They are working on improving the code to reflect real-world statistical data for failures as much as they are capable. You are free to skip the BITs if you'd like, but for those of us who want to really feel like we're strapped in and ready to rock, the BITs are part of the fun.

    Thanks for your kind remark.

  • Good job! but could you zoom in the pannel you are working on so we can see better on your next tutorials, Thanks

Which video had that issue? Did you watch the Cockpit Interior Check? That video should allow you to follow the mouse cursor to see where I'm talking about, as well as having each panel mentioned by name. Familiarity with the cockpit interior is quite important. :) I would suggest watching the first video until you can (from memory) draw a layout of the Viper's cockpit in your head and visualize where each switch, knob and lever can be found.

What I think is meant is, for example, when you say "Setting NWS" & "INS page pulled up on the DED" that indicators/displayed are zoomed in on so it's readable to the viewer.

Still, the videos are amazingly detailed. I can speak for everyone, but I appreciate the added fidelity.

I really do hope you make more videos.

  • Another benchmark delivery. More tutorials please W1zard!

  • YOU ARE THE BEST! Are you making some more tutorials or what! :0) just kidding! And now we need navigation, a-a, a-g weapons, refueling, landing, you know the whole enchilada, of course if you feel like it! good job!

  • Nice tut. Good, clear voice and well scripted. Look forward to more :-)

  • Excellent tutorial, thanks for making these and please do more!

  • Clear and easy to follow. Ive been flying the WH too long and this was a good refresher on the F16. I just found out how good BMS is and am hooked hehe.
