Hello po mga Kapamilya! (name of the network I'm auditioning for). This is going to be my STAR MAGIC Audition. So let's START!
Hi everyone! I'm Angel Jehn. I'm 23 years old. I'm 5'4 and I'm from Canada.
* What are the languages that you know?...
So languages that I know... I know how to speak Tagalog (Filipino). I know how to speak English of course. And I'm slightly learning to speak Korean from watching Korean dramas and listening to K-Pop.
* Hobbies/Specialities
So let's get started with my hobbies. I like to sing. I've been singing for a very long time ever since I was little. But two to three years ago, I learned how to use YouTube. That's why I usually post cover songs there of English, Tagalog (Filipino), Korean and Japanese songs. You guys be the judge, whether I know how to sing or not. But I REALLY do love to sing.
As for acting and dancing. I secretly do that on my own. When no one's home, I usually practice in front of the mirror. I tend to copy the dances from K-Pop groups.
And for acting, I seriously just talk to myself. I already look crazy, but I usually act all dramatic and even cry.
But I also really do like doing those. It' just that nobody knows that I know how to act and dance too.
* What shows do you watch on ABS-CBN (TV Network)?
Shows I like to watch on ABS right now. My two favourite shows are "My Binondo Girl" and "Budoy".
"My Binondo Girl" is very fresh. It's with Kim Chiu. Very Funny. Very talented. And "Budoy", very touching show with Gerald Anderson and I mean it's a different role for him. So, it's a very good show. So those are the two shows I recommend.
* Who's your celebrity crush?
Celebrity crush! I think... I'm getting super influenced by "My Binondo Girl", that's why... Andy Wu! (name of his character) Xian Lim. He's my celebrity crush right now.
* What do you want to know ABOUT ME?
So a little bit about myself... I recently graduated from University of Toronto and majored in English and Religion.
But during high school, I was already really interested in entertaining. I auditioned for talent shows and when I was in university, I also auditioned for two korean companies. SM Entertainment and JYP.
SM Entertainment is known for producing Girls' Generation and Super Junior and JYP is known for producing 2PM, 2AM and Wonder Girls.
* Why become a actress?
It has been a LONG TIME since I've been interested in acting. But, I truly do want to be given a chance to show everyone that I have a talent in acting, singing, and dancing. That's why I decided to audition for STAR MAGIC and I hope I get this chance. So! Without further ado. Please enjoy my cover song of Maging Sino Ka Man (Whoever You May Be). I've taken all my courage to FINALLY go through with this project in which I've worked extremely hard on. join their workshops and you'll likely be given a break if you're really good. just like what happened to heart evangelista.. i'm pretty sure she just signed up for the workshops and they gave her a break and put her in the official star magic batch.
