Didn't you make a white cheddar video? and have you looked into bee keeping or wax making?

I have no clue where to go to get spores like you did, I find it hard to trust some websites, do you know where you got yours?

Hi from Manitoba. How long do you wait for the mushrooms to grow? And how many mushrooms can you get from those logs. One more question Do they keep growing every year??? planning to retire soon and move out of the city and start homesteading myself.

@MobyDave1583 Well just one season and you will start seeing the rewards of your work. I have read reports that people have, under reasonable conditions have harvested pounds of mushrooms from one log twice a year for 8 ears.Dave the rewards of homesteading is unbelievable. I never thought I could do so much for my family and self living off the land. Be wise and read, I was taught some as a farm boy, but have captured more from reading.

@selfsufficientjason How much did those logs produce last year?
d3wdman 10 months ago
@d3wdman Those seasoned logs were just inoculated last spring with the spores. Like any plant it tales time for the fungi to grow through the log. A few were harvested, but now they are news coming out more and more as the weather warms up and temps hold in the 50s-60s. I will post a report later this spring/summer to inform you of the amounts produced.
