Paracord Fusion Ties - Volume 1: http://www.amazon.com/Paracord-Fusion... The Caterpillar Footed Solomon Bar is the first of several Solomon Bar "Flourishes" I'll be showing you over the course of this year. This ubiquitous tie (also called a Cobra Stitch) hasn't fully been appreciated for the variety of weaves, twists and turns it can incorporate. And... it's high time that fact changed. To see other examples of Solomon Bar Flourishes visit the Fusion Knots Forum (website) or friend me on Twitter (zenolen). I post new ties just about every other day. Many of which you won't see here for months. Video production by JD of Tying It All Together.

    - It's music from the ambient (iPod) game "Osmos". It's available for free online.

I love how instructional and slow you are; most people just assume you know how to do half the stuff. Keep up the good work mate.

    - I started off using 450 Paracord on account of the variety of colors is comes in. I was looking for good contrast and 450 Paracord provided it. As time moved forward, I discovered that the thinner, more pliable nature of 450 Paracord allowed me to generate a greater variety of knot and tie designs. In turn, 450 is simply my preferred cord for video and book demonstrations.

could you back the camera out a bit, so on the times where your hands are in the way, we can see which string you are using, and which way you turned the bracelet? tried the cobra the other night, and couldn't get the knot at the end to cooperate. Kudos!

nice video. I picked up several colors today and is just now starting out. Any advice? I tried to do the Caterpillar footed but for some reason it didn't come out the same. I am using 550 as that's all they had at the GI store. Any good reference books, video's, online places to learn?

Your videos are awesome... any suggestions for making a cool looking watch strap that might do a good job of covering the pins? Oh yeah... got to be simple enough that even I can do it. Thanks.
