Beautiful dancing...god bless!

@Khorasanzameen Here, you ignorant prick, is an example of kathak being used to tell stories.

u8&feature=related The backbone of Kathak is Hindustani music. Kathak is a freaking lesson in math itself...a precise dance form. I am sorry my friend its not a tribal dance. Its an insult to call it so.

@Khorasanzameen Just saw this comment n had the great privilege of reading through other comments by u. U got to be smoking something really good to say Kathak (u constantly seem to confuse the spelling with your tribal form Khattak) had origins in afghan tribal dances and turks whirling. Whirling dervishes was a much recent phenomena compared to KATHAK.. Katha means a story. I constantly attend kathak dance drama's. Indian epics depicted via Kathak. Don't need to prove anything to u.

I dance Aryan-Persian-Afghani dances for 3 decades and I am really considering to study Kathak seriously, I see much similarity in styles and expressions. In Aryan dances, arms and legs are more extended than Kathak and we often spin continually in line movingly but we do not have those advanced ankle bells' works with complex rhythms. I am writing this for Khorasanzameen and Shiva4ever. No fight guys...

Wow, what a beautiful dancer and dance

I know this dancer but don't remember her name. She is French and studied at the Kathak Kendra under Birju Maharaj.

Someone here needs to actually read a history book. The whole of Afghanistan was Hindu for millennia. Islam is just a very recent phenomenon in comparison. As for rampant Judaism in that region, this is groundbreaking news indeed!!!! According to my knowledge, that was since the last 2000 years, but do you think that there was no history prior to that? What do you think was going on at that time? Any further words of wisdom?
So if you watch a video, why not concentrate on that and give the person some nice feedback. If you don´t have something nice to say though, remain silent or give some constructive criticism so that the person in the video can advance and correct their faults. I think she dances beautifully and it´s very fluid.
