At 2:01 they don't make music boxes like that anymore. Music boxes nowadays are cheap, and the machinery is not even 1/2 as complicated. They're not designed to work for 50 years, like these used to either.

man i love me so 2:42 that was vintage gepato it would have made funny if he said oh shoot and start cursing at pinocchio then whipping his butt

@WishfulThinkingArt That's right. It wouldn't be a good idea for Pinocchio to touch fire as a puppet even if it doesn't feel hot to him since he's made of wood. I guess the two reasons why Geppeto got scared was because Pinocchio could turn into ashes from the fire and also Geppeto would have wanted to try his best to be a good father so Pinocchio could become a real boy as Pinocchio mentioned at 1:00 which made Geppeto happy.

@afriendofbean Yep, I'm sure he would. And especially because Pinocchio is still a puppet, he shouldn't touch fire. Although...the look on his face is super adorable when he remarks how pretty it looks :-)

@WishfulThinkingArt That's a good point. Probably since Pinocchio doesn't know much, Gepetto would probably get scared about any dangers Pinocchio might get into. Maybe Jiminy Crickett as Pinocchio's conscious should teach Pinocchio about never touching fire.

@afriendofbean Yes, I think so. And what with a boy as curious as Pinocchio, you can be sure Gepetto would be freaking out as he did :-P
