Inferior to Panzer general. New graphic and sounds only. Same units, no surrender, no overrun attack. Maps were better in Panzer general too.No single missions, only German campaigns. 40$ for this, no thank you. I'll get back to Pg2 instead.

@SouthernSky The units are not the same. There are many new features. Many new maps. General consensus greatly differs from your opinion as do the first professional 6 reviews that came in with the lowest being 85% and the players are absolutely loving it. Try checking the forum for more details as it sounds like you don't really know what the game is about and how well its going down with PG fans :)

@SouthernSky Obviously Southerine Sky has still not played the game as he keeps getting the facts wrong. You can play all missions from both sides, surrender is included, there are 10 special multiplayer maps and a universally praised multiplayer system. Reviews have been amazing with evem a mainstream site like Gamespot giving 8/10 and user reviews in the 90% on Gamespot and Metacritic. I'm sure if and when he tried Panzer Corps he'll understand why its become an instant hit.

Yes, a mission editor and you can edit the campaign tree as well to create new campaigns. You can also modify unit stats and unit textures.

@brucec43 Your message was deleted because it was offensive. If you swear again you'll be banned. We know what NATO icons are and have used them in many games where appropriate but they are not fitting here. Counters cannot show the unit type which is critical. There are too many stats for a unit to show on a counter so you need a recognisable icon.

Tried this game but it failed to appeal to me. I really dont understand why do I have to play the same PG again. Maybe for younger generation wargemers it's fun, like it was fun for me at the time.

Great game. If you love(d) Panzer General this is a great update and addition. Also the editor is pretty sweet. Tons of mods coming out already. Looks nice on high resolutions too.

I wonder if the maus is available?. I'd love to see how many shermans it could knock out.

Are the enemy units always hidden?. I remember in Panzer General you could select the telescope icon and all the enemy units whould become visable.
