The units are not the same. There are many new features. Many new maps. General consensus greatly differs from your opinion as do the first professional 6 reviews that came in with the lowest being 85% and the players are absolutely loving it. Try checking the forum for more details as it sounds like you don't really know what the game is about and how well its going down with PG fans :)

Imagine, units which detects bio or nuclear radioactivity. You move units into a contaminated area then they start to degrade because to have detected it or have no Mop gear protection. Decontamination becomes an issue. Medical evacuation ect. Have the effect linger for turns with radius determined by amount used. Units would have to adjust attack strategies. It would be great!!! What do you think?

Its never been done (at least not correctly). Lastly, even in Panzer there has never been anything to reflect the use of mustard gas on the battle field and its degrading effects on units. The us of SMOKE has also been missing ( Mort, Art) rounds played a big part in some of these ground assaults wind direction adding to the mix. This is the challenge I think can only be met by Matrix. Use the same Icon sets as Panzer they really ARE A BETTER LOOK which shows attention to detail.

I have always loved Matrix products but here is the challenge guys! Create a modern warfare simulator like this which incorporates the use of bio weapons. Its effects on the battlefield and combat units that are used in dealing with that threat. Mine units that use bio air units that spray or missile delivery systems. This will add texture and strategy to the game. Make it an editable feature so not to unbalance the game. Add the nuclear threat to that mixture and you have a game.
