A Presentation at The Point in Eastleigh 2008

Thanks to Gregory Nash and the team at The Point in Eastleigh, Awake was able to give a presentation of the work after a one week residency.

See what happens when a person gradually becomes unhealthy and is forced to plunge deep into his own constitution and inner being. His mind, his emotions, his spirit, his grace, his saboteur and the devil within him fight in all directions towards an unknown outcome..
Through powerful physical movement, harmonic song accompanied by two cello's, and beautiful scenarios, where the Norwegian director Christopher Sivertsen shamelessly play with circus, dance and theatre, this talented company takes you in to a personal and touching expression of one persons struggle to stay healthy. With inspirations drawn from Japanese Buddhist Warriors, The Ketjak Monkey Chant, Rachmaninoff, hip-hop and Kill Bill, and with a circus experienced technical team this is a spectacular experience.
