@asdfxyz1 Not necessarily. Have you ever snorkeled or done scuba? In the shallows with bright sun shining on a light brown bottom I would say that the video is very representative of what the diver saw with his own eyes.

Also they breed in amazing ways like holding the eggs and baby fish in their mouth until they are big enough to be free.

You are a lucky person. They are some of the most amazing creatures on this planet. The fish in your lake that are cichlids (most of them) came from only a species or so and became all the fish that you see in the lake. The ones that live in shells. The ones that look like sardines in the midwater. The ones that have all the colors of the rainbow and build huge sand crater nests. All over the world people pay big bucks to keep these fish in their home.
