@111knucklehead Because wrestling is all about generating a response from the audience, whether they love or hate you. Tully Blanchard said once that he did his job if he made the fans really hate him, b/c the fans would pay a lotta money to see him get beaten up.

This clip showed the clear bias of David Crockett. Anderson and Blanchard were clearly trying to help a drunken Ronnie Garvin stand up. Then when the beef was between Garvin and Flair, Rhodes and the other guy came in and interfered, causing Flair to use the alligator shoe in self defense. Then the enraged, drunken Garvin starts swinging with the foreign object and sucker punches The Champ. Crockett went to great lengths to try to spin it - I wouldn't be surprised if he even doctored the tape.
