Unfortunately, today was the final day of operations, for the Central Illinois Railroad, a shortline that operated around eighteen miles of trackage, in the west side of Chicago. Today, they were running with both of their switchers, the 1206 and 1209.
In this video, we will witness many movements, in various locations around the west side of Chicago. 1206 is fitted with an RS5T horn, while 1209 was running around with an M5.
Filmed on August 9th, 2010. Enjoy!

Excellent video. However, it still amazes me how many moron drivers disregard railroad crossings even when there is a crew out there flagging. On another note, I say that this line will see an increase of profit in the very near future.
