An example of the Bigpond 2Wire 2071-A modem trying to reboot itself and then finally working. It actually failed seconds after this and I have a second video of it not working properly...there are numerous apparent reasons why this should happen but according to most forums, it is due to interference on the ADSL2+ line. This modem isn't actually capable of running ADSL2+ but its the same sequence that happens with the modem below...

  • @kickthedamcat Erm. Told one isn't a modem. Bottom one is the replacement for the middle one. And isn't on. Really? You made two comments on this crappy video that was put up to help other people identify modem problems? I think you might be the loser here......

  • That's a great way to make your modem overheat

  • You need to learn to spell!

  • @maryyonto no thats dum i have the same problem has nothign to do wit hthat but this thing is getign on my nervs i think i might burn my internet

  • i have read on the bigpond website that some modems are configured only to worl with telstra internet, i have just changes isp and i was wondering if it will work with my new internet? also does this not work with ADSL2+ because i could get it with this modem :S

  • Perhaps your problem is caused by having three components stacked on top of each other.
