  • Good sound! Good choir! But it was to slow! try the tempo of a heartbeat Thats how they did it back then! also the sapranos need to watch their pitch in a few spots. give the vowels a rounder sound also. And at 2:26 on the recording the tenors were off quite a bit. The whole choir sped up a little when comparing the beginning and the end! Good sound! Good Dynamics! Good overall sound! Well Done!!!

  • Too slow....phrasing is note-to-note....it plods as a result. No forward momentum. Having said all that....this choir is still very good....everything I mentioned were conductor issues. This music is definitely NOT her forte!!!!!

  • i miss this. :(

  • It was at the 08 Heritage Festival in Anehiem...It won us 1st place Gold :)

  • We sang this song in 07. :) Where was this at?

  • the way we sang it is how the composer wrote it. we didnt stray away from the music. so please dont knock our conductor. she's very talented

  • You are quite right. I sung this just last year. The conductor needs to realize that even though this song sounds baroque, its rennesaince(I realized thats spelled wrong).

However, lol, you were wrong about the phrasing, there was none! There were no breaks, which normally is correct, but in this style, there need to be. And there weren't enough different dynamics. The choir is extremely talented though.

  • Go basses!

    haha no problemo

  • thanks(one of the basses)

  • WOW that was really good. All around great choir but the TB Sections blew my mind. wish our mens section sounded like yours. Great Job!
